yes they are. I have the JT-1000 and its amazing. All I would do is replace the pups but that might be just for me because I play metal but it feels nice, set thru neck, its a great guitar and only cost me $280. It could easily go up to $500

What are your feelings about the Jay Turser Cleopatra model? Its the semi-hollow body type..I did see it got very good overall ratings of a 9.3 out of ten. The price is very good I thought, around $350. It sure is a beautiful instrument. Thx and I like your playing!
